Consent of the governed A whore's consent is gained in a more direct fashion than some, including the competitors for the niche her services earn her, might prefer. The degree to which whoring is disfavored varies by country, and by region within country. A whore may find her services:
Recognizing that whoring is sacred would have many advantages. Priestesses would be less likely to be abused than "workers." Guilt and shame would decrease for the johns. The good works of soothing, healing, and releasing that many whores perform would be given recognition and encouraged. A parish-style organizational structure would enable whores to disintermediate pimps, agencies, and mama-sans in favor of a business model of services, dedicated to a higher power, performed in a safe, clean, well-lighted, public building. Phon: I see. Here, she calls herself "Icy," which makes her giggle: The word means not what she thinks I might think it means—icy cold—but, in Japanese, "spring." Which makes no sense, since Icy's Korean. Could it be Ishle (phon: ISH-uhl)? Meaning "morning dew"? She does, in fact, lubricate. {NA}
It's hard to write about money. My court date is in three weeks; I have a small college loan to pay off. In retrospect, I'm not sure {300} for Icy was the best idea in the world. Then again, I hope Icy isn't "on vacation" again—or retired—before I have more money for her.
 Money is a lot harder to write about than sex. Perhaps Tracy Quan is right: Emotion in whoring centers on money—both of us spend in our own ways. "Where your treasure is, there will your heart be." {NA}
Fetching things 1. Icy in her tiny orange sweat pants, all in a dither because she hasn't had time to brush her hair. 2. Her candy raver backpack, with a water bottle and a tiny stuffed bear.
